Essay

The thesis is devoted to the investigation of frequency of appearing of transversal bite in the structure of dental and jaw anomalies. The most widespread form during the teeth changing period is determined (the share of the junior age group, the elder age group share). The most prevailing aethiological factors are: delayed rubbing out of tubercles of the milk-teeth, pernicious habits. Among the 118 inspected persons the most significant changes were observed under the form of anomaly without displacement of lower jaw. Marked aesthetic changes were observed under combined form of anomaly. According to the above mentioned changes an algorithm has been made up which would allow orthodontic dentists to determine the complexity of the anomaly, to choose the most expedient and effective complex of cure and prophylactic measures for elimination of the anomalies.
