Shchytova-Romanchuk L. The Godwin's creativity in context of romantic demonism

The dissertation is devoted to the questions of modification and display of the Romantic mythologemes connected with the theme of demonism of in the creative art of Godwin; to the analysis of the sources and tendencies in their development in the romantism. The peculiarities of Godwin's philosophical and poetic system are established as well as his contribution to the development of the theme of demonism, the originality of his own interpretation of that theme. The analysis is done against the background of the general West-European Romantic process. The historic-conceptual approach and semantic-linguistic analysis of Godwin's works are selected as the method of research.
