The dissertation contains data on chromosome aberrations dynamics in peripheral blood lymphocytes of Chernobyl clean-up workers. The metod of investigation was the classic cytogenetic analysys of lymphocyte cultures under the light microscope. For the first time the type of "time-effect" relationship for aberration yield changes in liquidators was determined, the aberration elimination rate was calculated depending on radiation dose and exposure protraction. Using the aberrations dynamics models the initially-induced chromosome damage yields and cytogenetic indices normalization terms in liquidators were calculated. The fields of application are human radiobiology and biodosimetry
