Object of research: Morse mappings of surfaces. Goal of research: classification of components of space of Morse maps of surfaces, classification of m-functions on surfaces, proof of triviality of second homotopy group for one class of spaces. Methods of research: methods differential and algebraic topology New theoretical results: generalization of S.V.Matveev's and V.V.Sharko's work on classification of components of Morse function space on surfaces; generalization of V.V.Sharko's classification of Morse functions on surfaces; construction of one class of 3-manifolds with trivial second homotopy group.
