Essay

The thesis deal with analysis of the Ukrainian historiographic process and the development of the Ukrainian Studies in West, especially of "The Ukrainian Historian". This journal was founded by Ukrainian Diaspora in 1963 and as the official organ of Ukrainian Historical Association has been published in Ukrainian. The hystory of the journal and its edition process also the concepssion's and the facts matterials on its pages were analised, in particular the theoretical aspects of Ukrainian historiography and its hystory, and the sourse studies. Journal has been established as the sourse to Ukrainian Historical Association's history study.
