Layer of palletizing sintering mix and gas movement in it. Methods of definition of fractional void and gas-penetrance of palletizing sintering mix layer in flow, and also model of gas-penetrance of any granulometric composition sintering mix layer. Theoretical computation, mathematical modeling, laboratory and industrial experiments, analytical and statistics methods of data processing, development new devices of definition of fractional void and gas- penetrance of palletizing sintering mix layer, computer are methods of research and equipment. Sintering machine productivity are increase on 1,5%, sinter quality are improve and solid fuel expenditure are reduced on 1%, height of sintering layer are grow with 240-260 mm to 300-310 mm in result. New model of layer gas-penetrance for definition of gas pressure loss on formed layer height with account of palletizing sintering mix granulometric composition and gas qualities are worked, to optimisation to process of mix packing on sintering machine. New cont rol method by sintering mix moisture are worked, in that quality are been evaluate on gas-penetranse (fractional void) of formed in flow it layer on exit from palletizing drum. The control method are introduction on sintering factory of Mariupol integrated iron-and-steel works of name of Illich. Ferrous metallurgy is sphere of application.
