The dissertation is devoted to the historiographical analysis of the Ukrainian committee of study of local lore's magazine - "Kraeznavstvo" (1927-1930). In the work, of this periodic edition is illuminated and the formal-quantitative attribution is carried out. On the base of the magazine, and the study of local lore heritage of V.Gerinovich, K.Dubnyak, V.Kravchenko, M.Krivorotchenko, S.Rudnitskiy, D.Solovey, S.Yali and others, referring to the wide historiographic base of the theme, archives documents, the main tendentious of the local lore study development and also its role in the developing of the historical regional researches on the organization and substantial level in Ukraine 1920-1930 s.
