Tytarenko I. Peculiarity of Kurt Vonnegut's artistic world

The work is an attempt to systematize the research of the Peculiarities of artistic world of the novels by a famous american writer Kurt Vonnegut whose creative figure was widely discussed in the history of literature of the second half of the XX-th century. The problem of peculiarities of Vonnegut's individual style had been often involved in a number of aspects discussed by modern american specialists in different spheres: narration, poetry, psycho-analistic and mytho-critical metodology. The aim of the research is to define the specific reality modelling in Kurt Vonnegut's novels, their interpretation in the history of the literature as novels belonging to modern phylosofic proze according to their highprincipled, aesthetic and structure-formed features. Kurt Vonnegut's novels have been analised from the point of view of the verification of the author's mastery and according to the existential categories: existence, alienation, loneliness, death which are especially important in the literary practic e of the XX-th century in the USA. The results of the research gave the possibility to define Kurt Vonnegut as a modern artistic thinker.
