Rusina S. Chronobiological description and chronotherapy nonpsychotic and psychotic disorders of arteriosclerotic genesis

A study of epidemiological indices and risk factors of vascular-psychic disorders of arteriosclerotic genesis (VPDAG) was carried out in different climato-landscape areas of the Chernovtsy region. A complex method of chronobiological investigation arteriosclerotic nonpsychotic and psychotic disorders has been elaborated. It has been shown that the presence and peculiarities of rhythmologic derangements may serve an objective criterion of the severity the disease, while their dynamics may an index of the efficacy of treatment. The significance of the chronotherapeutic method in a multimodality course of treatment of patients with VPDAG has been evaluated. We have also invesyigated the effect of environmental factors on the manifestation and relapses of these diseases. It has been shown that the unfavorable ecological situation in some areas of the region favors the growth of the vascular psychic pathology among permanent residents of the territory. A correlation link between sharp changes of the synopt ical situation and the frequency of patients' hospitalization with this pathology has been established. Exacerbation of arteriosclerotic nonpsychotic and psychotic psychic disorders have been proved to be of seasonal character.
