Essay

It was investigated the phenotypical peculiarities of cisplatin-resistant cell line KB/DDP5. We found that drug resistance development in KB/DDP5 cells was accompanied with CD95 up-regulation and increase in sensitivity to CD95-mediated apoptosis induced by agonistic mAb IPO-4 (IgM). There were detected strong caspase-3, -8 and -9 activation and cytochrome c release in KB/DDP5 cells after CD95-ligation.
