Essay

Object of a research: is to fattening and young remount pigs. Methods of research: are zootechnic, physiological, physical and chemical, morphological, biochemical. Theoretical and practical results: it is establiahed that partial substitution of cereal components in mixed feed for young pigs by tomato and apple squeezes flour has positive effects on metabolism of nitrogen and some other mineral elements, contributes to increase of average daily gains, reduces feed consumption per 1 kg of body weight gain, and allows to save considerable amounts of grain forage during the growing period. It is suggested to use 15 % (by weight) of tomato squeezes flour in mixed feed for fattening pigs instead of barley grain, and 20 % (by weight) of apple squeezes flour for remount pigs. Novelty: for the first time under the conditions of Central Forest and Steppe Zone of Ukraine it has been experimentally proved that including of tomato and apple squeezes flour in mixed feed for young pigs is expedient, and norms for s uch inclusion have been developed. Application level: reults of the research are being used in the Experimental Farm named after 9 January, Kyiv Oblast; in the training of animal husbandry professionals at Odessa State Agricultural Institute.
