Momot O. Raising the Efficiency of Ukraine's Railways Rolling Stock Operation by Means of Unification of Electric Relays

It is proposed to take the parametric series in the form of arithmetic and geometric progressions concerning the main parameter as the basis of unification of intermediate relays. A quantity of contacts is adopted as the main parameter. It is proposed to apply a special purpose function for the choice of the optimum parametric series. The main parametric restrictions are determined; the technique of applying a special purpose function is developed; a rational series of intermediate relays is found out. There is offered a mathematical model which made it possible to carry out the research of influence of unification levels and reliable operation on the value of their reserve for continuous maintenance of rolling stock with a given probability of that the required relay will be available when necessary. A corresponding program for the use of electronic computers is worked out. The main results of the work have found application when modernizing the acting rolling stock circuits and in the development of the new ones.
