Present data on synthesis of benzimidazole derivatives with fluorocontaining substituents, asymmetrical biphenyls and potential nonpeptide antagonists of angiotensine II receptor - Losartan anologes. Synthesis of diphenyltetrafluoroethanes, 1-thrihalomethylbenzimidazoles and condensation of 1-bromodifluoromethyl-benzimidazoles with aromatic aldehides are described. New methodes of thrihalomethylation of secondary nitrogen atom of heterocycles have been developed.
