Essay

Small prose by Vynnychenko and Bunin is interpreted principally in a new theoretical light in the thesis. Initial position of analysys is changing of high-minded, aesthetical prioritets in literature (beginning of the 20th century). Side by side with historical, (chronological changing of epochs) essential, philosophical, out looking aesthetical transformations took place. Typical becomes process of person's emancipation, selfrealization of inner requirements and possibilities of separate person. The writers of the beginning of the 20th century felt and showed in practice the most essential signs of the crisis of aesthetical realism in its traditional meaning.
