Astaf'yev A. The Nation Contituity Phenomenon in the Ukrainia Historical and Philisiphical Dimension.

In present thesis the author deals with the analysis of a nation as a continuitive concept on the material of Ukrainian nationalistic historiography, delivers the general scheme of the maternal history through ethnic contituity, undeflines the meaning of social-political and social hietatchy in the process of ethnic-social and cultural identity. It is set that elite plays the mst importayn role in these processes, performing its uniting and cognitive-creatice function, developing the process of national continuity. The specific attention is ingluence onto Ukrainian social-cultural dynamics, that, in the opinion of Y.Vasseian, D. Dontsov, E.Malaniuk, Y. Lypa, L.Rebet has the decisive meaning for the further development of the nation and the statehood.
