Lyesnukhina G. The complex treatment for periodontal disease with the correction of disturbances in lipids peroxidation.

The complex researches of the process of lipid peroxidation in saliva, blood from gums and periodontal tissues were conducted in patients with periodontal disease of various courses. The disturbances revealed in the process are in a positive correlation with a stage of the disease and features of its course - a degree of the distrophic inflammatory process activation. The depression in general antioxidation system activity was established. Besides, differently directed changes in separate ferments were established. A scheme of the complex treatment for periodontal disease was developed with using an antioxidant agent, quercetinum in granules. The conducted clinical and laboratory researches confirmed that using quercetinum decreased the destruction of capillaries, mediators of inflammation, products of peroxidation of the distrophic inflammatory process in situ. Besides, there was revealed an increase in both indicators of non-specific resistance and general antioxidation activity.
