Mercury distribution in the Crimea is determined: in rocks - by the conditions of their sedimentation, subsequent diagenesis and proximity of natural mercury sources; in soils - by concentration of mercury in soil-forming rocks and by type of soils and by technogenic sources' influence. The study of mercury thermoform distribution in soil-forming rock - soil system allows to allocate abnormal sites, to carry out their division on natural and technogenic and to define the source of the latter. (РАФ-1, АГП of "ІМР" type).
