Within the greenstone structures of the Middle-Dnipro domain, the metasedimentary rocks are up to 350 m thick and lie among the komatiite-basalt association of the Konkska series. They are observed in all greenstone structures. They include two groups of sedimentogenous products, namely, clastic and chemogenic. In Verkhivtsevska, Konkska, and Bilozerska greenstone structures, the Bilozerska series, composed of metasedimentary rocks and thick ferruginous-siliceous formation with an insignificant amount of acidic metavolcanics, rests with a stratigraphic nonconformity over the Konkska series. Some researchers attribute the Bilozerska series to section of the Archean greenstone belts, while others think it is a part of the Paleoproterozoic formations. Based on the results of studies of metasedimentary rocks of Konkska and Bilozerska series, the age of the basement of greenstone structures of Middle-Dnipro domain has been determined for the first time. The basement’s structure is dominated by plagiogranitoids having an age of 3.17-3.19 billion years and, in a subordinate amount of rocks of the Paleoarchean age, 3.23 billion years. Thus, the Middle-Dnipro domain cannot be regarded as a "juvenile Mesoarchean block", as it has been formed on the Paleoarchean basement. Taking into account the obtained data, the lower chronostratigraphic boundaries of the Konkska and Bilozerska series formation on the Middle-Dnipro domain can be determined as 3.17 and 3.0 billion years. In the area of feeding of sedimentary rocks of the Bilozerska series, the TTGs of the Sursky complex predominated. It has been found that the "white quartzite" members among the basite-ultrabasite complex of the Konkska suite, the Skhidno-Hannivska monocline, are much younger than the ultrabasites and were formed due to erosion of the TTGs of the Sursky complex. White quartzites probably belong to the Skelevatska suite of the Kryvorizka series. The paleoclimatic conditions for accumulation of sedimentary rocks of the Konkska and Bilozerska series have been reconstructed. The immature metasedimentary rocks of the Konkska series were probably formed in water basins of limited size in an area with dissected relief. Weathering of rocks within the feeding area took place in an arid climate with a predominance of mechanical washout processes. The metaterigenous rocks of the Bilozerska series are characterized by a high degree of maturity and were formed in shallow-water basins in an area with a slightly dissected relief. Destruction of rocks within the feeding area of the Pereverzivska suite took place in a humid climate, with chemical weathering processes dominating. According to geochemical data, the feeding area of the Pereverzivska suite used to differ from the feeding area of the Mykhailivska suite. In the feeding area of the former, basic rocks prevailed. The ferruginous-siliceous rocks of the Bilozerska series, compared with the ferruginous-siliceous rocks of the Konkska series, have a significantly higher content of Rb, Zr, Hf, and Th, at the same time having a lower content of Ni, indicating predominance of acidic rocks in the sediment accumulation area.
