GRANChAK T. Ukrainian National Revival of the Second Half of XIX - the Beginning of XX Century into the Works of Polish Historian Leon Vasilewskij.

The dissertation is devoted to investigation of specific reflection of regularations and special features of the process of ukrainian national revival of the second half of XIX - the beginning of XX century in creative legacy of polish historian Leon Vasilevskij. The activity of the historian was analysed in the context of ukrainian national revival. The theory of the formation and development of ukrainian "national organism", which was created by the scientist during his investigation of national problem, was considered. Methodological and national-historic main points of views of the historian on the process of the formation of ukrainian nation were revealed. The attempt to define L.Vasilevskij's contribution in studing of the problem of ukrainian national revival and to specify the place occupied by his theory in the context of national-politic theories of the end of XIX - the beginning of XX century was made.
