Essay

The tesis is devoted to increasing the effectiveness of therapy in patients with giant-cell tumors, benign tumors and tumor-like bone disorders by applications of the home made ceramic materials based on hydroxylapatite and tricalcium phosphate in plastic bone surgery following exision of these tumors. Analysed result of tretment, which show that the use of these materials for implantation reduces the level of complications from 27,2% to 2,35%, shortens medical rehabitation by 2 to 3 months, as well as results in the average shortvening of the hospital stag period by 10 to 12 days, as compared to allotransplants.
