Essay

The object of investigation: the lithium hexafluorophosphate and electrolyte systems with it participation. The aim: developing methods of LiPF6 synthesis on base of interactions in the HF-PCl5-LiF system, the study phase equilibria of "LiPF6 - aprotic medium" systems. The methods of investigation: chemical and physicochemical analysis, IR-, NMR-spectroscopy of 19F and 31P, X-ray studies, kinetic etc. Theoretical and practical results: the methods of synthesis, component analysis, the new way of producing electrolytes for lithium batteries have been developed. The degree of integration: the electrolytes with participation of LiPF6 have been tested in a research laboratory of Kiev State University of Technologies and Design. The sphere of use: the enterprises and organizations connected with the realization of producing processes of fluorophosphates and electrolytes for lithium current sources.
