Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the optimization of diagnosis, treatment and prophylactic medical examination of patients with different kinds of diphtheritic myocarditis based on complex evaluation of clinical features, the nearest and postponed consequences myocardial functional condition and autonomic nervous system. 149 patients were examined. Range of investigation used for diagnosis of myocarditis in patients with diphtheria and its terms were substantiated. Complex of diagnostic criteria, especially for light forms, was specified, recommendations for treatment were optimized, the system of prophylactic medical examination of such patients was elaborated. The results of the study have been implemented into practical work of the clinical hospitals.
