The thesis concerns the up-to-date issues of neuroroengenology in the diagnosis of the brain hemisphere gliomas using computer - and magnetic-resonance tomography ( CT, MRI ) as well as magneto-resonance spectroscopy (MRS). The study is in a good time to resolve the scientific problem faced by the ray diagnosis technique and neurosurgery, namely the problem of how to increase the efficiency of diagnosis of the brain hemisphere gliomas with different hystobiology and malignancy. The research is based on the findings in 126 patients witch brain hemisphere gliomas who underwent surgery followed by histological tests of tumor tissue. The most characteristic features have been revealed to reflect the structural particulars of every gliomic tumor and its malignancy rate. The table has been drawn up to systemize the CT and MRI signs according to their manifestation and incidence (%). Using the table, it became possible to identify more effectively - by 15 % and 16,3 % in average, in CT and MRI, respect ively - the glioma hystobiological and malignant features. The edema area is shown to increase as the glioma malignancy grows up. It was found during the 1 HMR- spectroscopy that metabolic disorders in tumors are more pronounced when the glioma malignancy level elevates. CT, MRI and MRS enable the efficiency of a non-invasive diagnosis of glioma hystobilology and malignancy to be improved.
