The dissertation is devoted to an efficient approach to the solving noncircular cylindrical shells with changed thickness statics problem working. The approach is based on a combined using of methods of a spline-collocation and a discrete ortogonalization. The analysis of the stress-strained state of ellipsoidal and corrugated shells with changed thickness at large range of geometrical characteristics and contour holdings is made.
