Essay

The quantum mechanisms of semichannelling and attendant electromagnetic radiation of electrons has been investigated using theoretical and calculation methods. The band reflection has been studied and it is shown that a behavior of band reflection is determined by a crystal structure and surface plane indexes. It has been proposed a new quantum mechanism of reflection of electrons under axial semichannelling conditions - the multiband reflection. The angular dependencies of intensity of specular reflection have been calculated. A new quantum mechanism of electromagnetic radiation of electrons under planar semichannelling conditions has been found and examined. The influence of electromagnetic radiation on the band reflection has been studied and it is shown that radiation processes may to reduce the probability of reflection.
