Essay

An approach to the evaluation of life of structural elements with cracks, GTE blades in particular, has been developed and justified. Analysis has been performed of the thermal stress-strain state of wedge-shaped models under thermal fatigue loading in the case of initiation of crack-type defects using mathematical apparatus of fracture mechanics. The values of the stress intensity factors close to the threshold ones have been found.
