Essay

This work is dedicated to a complex research of music activity of Ukrainian emigration in Czechoslovakia between wars. The work describes the direction of its activity towards the conservation of Ukrainian national identy and development of national culture. It shows the peculiarities of Ukrainian culture existence in other national environment and stimulated affect of this environment on Ukrainian culture. The results of research showed perspectives of separation of problems of Ukrainian musical culture functioning abroad into separate composing part of musicology - musical "diasporology".
