The purpose: to study the pronouncedness of manifestations of the metabolic syndrome and immunologic phenotype of lymphocytes in obese and with type 2 DM patients. Methods and appara- tus: clinical, biochemical, immunologic; flow cytometry, electronic microscope, computer.Theoretical and practical outcomes: clinico-immunologic markers of the main mani- festations of metabolic syndrome in patients with obesity and type 2 DM were established. Innovation: the necessity of evaluation of the insulin resistance stage, lipid abnormali- ties and disturbances of immunologic phenotype of lympho- cytes were proved in patients with obesity with purpose to prognosis type 2 DM and cardio-vascular complications in that group of patients. Degree of introduction: data can be used in observation of patients with obesity and type 2 DM and in the lectures of the medical Universities. The sphere of use: endocrinology, cardiol ogy. 3.Object of research: metabolic syndrome in patients with obesity and type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM).
