. The dissertation is devoted to the investigation of the phase diagrams and crystal structures of the compounds in the systems of Nd-{Cu,Ag,Au}-{Si,Ge,Sn,Pb,Sb,Bi}. Isothermal sections of the phase diagram for all system at 600°C and Nd-Ag-Ge at 800°C have been constructed. 29 ternary compounds are observed. The crystal structure of 26 intermetallic compounds has been determinated by the X-ray methods. They crystallize in 8 structure types. The region of existance and crystal structure of the solid solutios in the Nd-{Cu,Ag,Au}-Si systems with the aThSi2 type structure have been established. By means of the X-ray sigle crystal methods the crystal structure of the Nd5Ag0.5Si3.5 has been refined. The isostructural series of the compounds with the Gd6Cu8Ge8 structure type have been investigated. The schemes of the possible phase equilibria for the Nd-Au-{Si,Ge,Sn,Pb,Sb, Bi} at 600°C, except Nd-Cu-Ge(Sn) have been proposed. The comparision analysis of investigated systems with related systems has been mad e.
