Essay

. Object of investigation is selection process manage-ment in dairy cattle herds. Aim of investigation is elabo-ration and improvement of methods of evaluation of pedigree animals genotypes. Methods of investigation are genetic and mathematical. Theoretical and practical results : methods of evaluating pedigree bulls and that of defining genetic correlations have been improved ; crite-rion of prepotency and that of optimisation of selection programs and method of forming groups of animals-analogues by complex of indications have been elabo-rated. Sphere of employment is solving theoretical and practical tasks of selection process management in dairy cattle breeding.
