Essay

The role of ocular hemo- and hydrodynamics disorders in the formation of myopic refraction during the period of organizm's growth is revealed in the experiment on 39 rabbits under the age of puberty. The hyperproduction of camera moisture on the background of pressure reduction in the ocular vessels during the period of animal organizm's growth forms the myopic refraction with the increase of ocular size and sclerotic subtling with its fibres fragmentation and the increase of glycosubstituted glycanes. The myopic experimental model is received with the using of the factors causing the progression of myopia in clinic, specifically the increase of intraocular pressure and the reduction of perfusion pressure in the ocular artery pool. The state of ocular hemo- and hydrodynamics is studied in 124 patients (229 eyes) with emetropia, stationary and progressive myopia course. The changes of ocular hydrodynamics are evaluated under influence of different in duration ocular exertion on emetropia as well as stat ionary and progressive myopia course. Іt is established the interconnection of myopia progression and short-termed increasеs of intraocular pressure at the expense of higher speed of intraocular fluid formation under influence of ocular exertion. It is grounded the expediencу of administering the preparations reducing the speed of intraocular fluid formation (0,5 per cent solution of timolol maleate) before ocular exertion and the excluding of vasodilating preparations from the therapy complex.
