Methods of synthesis of new 4-unsubstituted 3-cyanopyridine-2(1H)-thiones by interaction electrophilic olefines (ethoxymethylene-derivatives of diethyl malonate, acetylacetone, thenoyltrifluoroacetone, benzoyltrifluoroacetone and acetoacetanilide) with cyanothioacetamide were devised.
