. The work under consideration presents the results of an integrated study of the state of cardiovascular system in children and adolescents who became subject to the influence of increased radiation. To find out the state of cardiovascular system the following subjects have been examined: 139- persons evacuated from Zhytomir region and 210 persons from the town of Prypiat. Schoolchildren from Kharkov Having had no contact with radiation (156 persons) served as a control gfoup.There has been established a certain rise in significant disorders in children and adolescents evacuated from the zones of radioactive contamination, as compazed wiyh schoolchildren of Kharkov. Dynamic observation (durings 10 years) revealed an increase of cardiovascular impairments incidence caused by the disorders of cardiac rhythm and the processes of repolarization, of frequency deviations in threshold type RECG, cerebral vessels tenses disturbances, as well as by decreased tolerance to physical loads. Cardiovascular disorder s in such children are rooted in certain decrease of integrative role of hypothalamus. Prophylactic measures taking into consideration the central regulatory mechanisms of cardiovascular disorders have made if possible to prevent their progression in children and adolescents evacuated in varions ferms after the Chernobyl disaster.
