Scientific thesis is devoted to the problem of general pedagogical training of students in the classical university. The leading functions, place and the role of laboratory classes on Pedagogics in the teacher training process are grounded. The types of laboratory classes, didactic conditions of the effectiveness of their application on practice were defined. The conception of a content and methods of the laboratory practical work on Pedagogics, which are subordinated to the disclosing of the essence of the basic components of the technological approach to the pedagogic activity, is grounded.
