Essay

47 Porcine Enteroviruses (PEV) strains were isolated and their biological, physico-chemical and antigenic properties were investigated. 9 of these strains were referred to PEV of 1-th serotype, 2 - to PEV-4, 4 - to PEV-6, and do not belong to PEV serotypes which are known. Typical fitting of 28 strains which were isolated is not determined, because they have the antigenic connections with PEV reference strains of the several serotypes. As it is established the intertypical antigenic properties of PEV are stipulated by common antigenic virus determinates. Clones with intermediate antigenic properties were received as a result of intertypycal cross-breeding of the PEV reference strains. The Diagnostic set of porcine enterovirus pneumoenteritis was developed on the basis of studying of the PEV strains with intertypical antigenic properties. Key words: porcine enterovirus, strains, antigenic properties, virusneutralisation test, serotype, diagnostic set.
