Thesis is devoted to the investigation of stressedly deformed condition of normal sections of bending and eccentrically compressed reinforced-concrete members according to dimensions and shape of compressive area and arrangement of longitudinal and transversal reinforcement. There had been improved and perfected character of experimental researches of durability and deformability of compressive reinforced concrete elements. There had been worked out some recommendations for perfecting design procedure for reinforced concrete member durability using strain diagrams of concrete and reinforcement.
