The dissertation is devoted to the study of lipid peroxidation processes, antioxidation protection system, immune reactivity and treatment of the irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) with diarrhoea and chronic enteritis (CE). The obtained results prove that the course of the IBS with diarrhoea and CE is accompanied by the activation of lipid peroxidation processes, disturbance of cellular and humoral immunity. The received evience allowed to prove the use of altan that produces antioxidation and immunemodulating effects in complex treatment of patients with IBS with diarrhoea and CE. The complex therapy of irritable bowel syndrome and chronic enteritis positively impacts the clinical cjurse of the diseases, restores the disordered immunity, supports normalisation of lipid peroxidation processes and increase in contens of lipovimins in blood serum and mucous membrane of distal part of duodenum.
