Pidvojnyj V. Linguistic terminology in Turkish.

The subject of the thesis is the linguistic terminology in Turkish as lexical and lexicographical problem. The theoretical problems of the term definition are analysed from the semiological point of view; the Turkish terminology discussions are described. The description of the formation and development of the Turkish linguistic terminology, methods and means of the formation of terms and their word-building models are proposed. Linguistic terms in Turkish are characterised regarding the semantic aspect. The problem of lexicographic fixation, unification and standardisation of the Turkish linguistic terms is analysed. The perspectives of the further researches of the topic are defined, and the author's version of the bilingual Turkish-Ukrainian Dictionary of Linguistic Terms is proposed.
