The dissertation is dedicated to elucidation and ascertainment of constant patterns that reiterate historically and structurally from the standpoint of use of the sacred Christmas time as a basis which forms genre variety proclaimed by Christmas Books by Charles Dickens and endorsed by genre context (literatures of common and different ethnic tradition are engaged). The main genre indicators conditioned by chronotopos are analysed and significant role of the cycle by Charles Dickens in historical literary assertion of the system of this peculiarities is stated.
