Essay

The dissertation has been devoted to the investigation of the nonlinear interaction of waves in a structure derived by the periodic recurrence of semiconductor and dielectric layers and located in a magnetic field. The features of the propagation of new-type volumetric and surface magneto-plasma waves in a semiconductor superlattice in a magnetic field have been investigated. It has been shown, that the nonlinear interaction in a periodic structure has the particularities. The resonant conditions between the first- and second-harmonic waves have been analyzed in the work It has been shown, that the increase of the coefficient of the non-linear interaction is associated with the resonance phenomenas: the Bragg resonance of the whole structure period, "nonlinear resonance" and cyclotron resonance.
