Experimental and theoretical investigation of oblique planes' strength of reinforced concrete beams with both one-signed and two-signed bending moment diagrams loaded with concentrated loads have been treated in this work. An engineering technique of calculating strength of oblique planes of reinforced concrete beams with two-signed bending moment diagram, in which transverse reinforcement is determined for the impact of bending moment' increment, has been developed. The technique proposed takes into account simultaneous effects of both M and Q. The nomographic chart for determining the displacement coefficient of bending moment diagram V, depending upon the ratio a/ho and percentage of longitudinal reinforcement, has been devised. The physical meaning of the displacement coefficient of bending moment diagram V, which combines calculation of vertical sections and oblique planes, has been shown. Calculations of oblique planes' strength of 94 beams with two-signed bending moment diagram (the author's inv estigation, Leonhardt F., Ziganshin H.A., Rodriguez J.) by means of the proposed method, СНиП 2.03.01-84* method and EUROCODE 2 have been performed. Comparison of the experimental and theoretical outcomes obtained by these methods has verified the reliability of the proposed technique.
