Essay

In order to solve the problem of saving the fuel-power resources during the manufacturing of alumino-silicate refractories the technology of chamotte articles for bottom pouring by nonfired method was developed. Composition of phosphate bond and refractory mass, optimal technological parameters of nonfired refractory production for bottom pouring steel were worked out. Obtained power-saving technology was tested in industry. Testing-industrial batch of nonfired refractories was successfully tested during bottom pouring of wide brands of steel. It was proved that effective structure of products during work was formed. This structure gives their high thermal resistance, low washing out by metal stream in comparison with fireclay articles.
