Tunytsya T. International Aspects of the Formation of Branch Economic Policy of Sustainable Developmen (on the Material of Forestry)

Little investigated in Ukrainian science international aspects of the problem of the formation of branch economic policy of sustainable development on the example of one of the most typical branches - forestry - are investigated in the dissertation. The ways of the formation of national policy of forestry sustainable development are suggested in the dissertation on the basis of international experrience, recognized principles,criteria and indices of branch sustainable development, as well as an integral criterion of ecologically-economical efficiency of forestry. The process of the formation of such policu will be long. At a present stage its key factors are: the improvement jf legal norms of forestry according to international requirements; the improvement of the system of planning, monitoring and control; reorientation of forestry export flows; introduction of ecologial certification of forests and forestry products; a wider use of leasing for the restoration and improvement of the material and technical basis of the branch; community and non-governmental public organization involvement in the decision-making process.
