Essay

The clinico-laboratory study demonstrated that electrophoretic activity of buccal epithelium cells in children without dental caries did not depend on the sex and was associated with the indices of local immunity in the oral cavity. In dental caries in children electrophoretic activity of buccal epithelium cells (EPABEC) depend on the degree of caries activity, i.e. with increase of dental caries activity in children this parameter decreases. The association of EPABEC with the indices of local immunity reflect age-dependent character of the immunity development. This allows to use EPABEC evaluation as express technique for mediated evaluation of the state immunity in the oral cavity. A protocol for conservative treatment and prevention of dental caries with the use of sodium nucleate, methyluracil, Leuzea, Eleutorococcus, Immunal, natrium fluoratum, Fluor-a-day was worked out. Administration of this treatment allows to delay development of caries complications in children, to diminish caries developmen t and to increase caries reduction.
