Essay

The thesis is devoted of clinico-experimental basis of prosthetics of persons of old age who have pathologic abrasion of the teeth with metaloceramic constructions of unremovable dentures. There were added the classification of pathologic abrasion depending of the age, degree and the hight of occlusion. There were worked out the algorhythm of clinical diagnosis, which allows the differential approach to the choica of treatment. It was determined that adaptation of the patients with the 1-st degree of pathologic abrasion to the manufactured metaloceramic dentures makes in more short terms adaptation than in the II-nd degree abrasion. The teeth with I and II degree need not any preliminary therapeutic and orthopedic preparation but in prosthetics of the III-d degree preparation is necessary.
