Essay

Zeolite-containing microspheric FCC catalyst and cracking reaction. Synthesis of the catalyst by ion exchange, chemical and hydrothermal modification of samples. Ammonia TPD, N2 аnd Ar adsorption, microcatalytic cumene cracking, X-ray diffraction, IR-spectroscopy. Peculiarities of catalyst preparation have been established, express-method for the stabilization of samples by steaming has been worked out. Higher stability of the in situ synthesized catalysts was found. Catalyst acid spectrum by means of chemical modification has been optimized. The cumene activation and cumene cracking mechanisms have been proposed. Sphere of use petrochemistry.
