Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the problem of improvement in diagnosis of disorders in the cardiovascular system and vegetative homeostasis in children with postural pathology and to the development of a complex of therapeutic measures aimed at improving efficacy of rehabilitation for such patients. For the first time, the complex examination of state of the cardiovascular system and vegetative nervous system (VNS) was carried out in children with postural pathology. It was revealed that significant changes in vegetative homeostasis were present in children with vegetative dysfunction and postural pathology. Noted for the first time in children with kyphoscoliotic disease were changes in parameters of the time and spectral analysis of cardiac rhythm variability characterized by tension of both sympathetic and parasympathetic regulatory links of VNS, nocturnal sympathicotonia, day-time vagotonia as well as a reduction in the adaptation mechanisms. A high degree of sinus arrhythmia pronouncedness was reg istered in children with kyphoscoliotic disease irrespective of their sex as was the development of ectopic foci of excitation (Holter-ECG). Described for the first time were changes in evoked sympathetic cutaneous potentials in children with postural pathology of various clinical forms.A type of central hemodynamics was discovered in children with postural problems and kyphoscoliosis. A significant reduction in both rate of early opening of the mitral valve and rate of early diastolic covering of its anterior flap was revealed in children with vertebral deformity of III-IV degree. The program of medical measures was both developed and approved under the ambulatory and stationary conditions for children with kyphoscoliotic disease of I-II degree.Revealed was the effect of vertebral deformity on a degree of the disorder manifestation in functioning the cardiovascular system and VNS, which was confirmed by the results of both clinico-instrumental examinations and multifactorial correlation analysis.
