VYShNEVS'KA O. Reception of Antiquity in the works of neoclassics, akhmyestics and scamandrits

The dissertation is devoted to the analysis of the antique theme in the conception of the activities of the Ukrainian neoclassics, Russian akhmeists and Polish scamandrits. The heroes of the antique mythology literature and history and their influence on the foundation of neoclassical outlook and aesthetics are the object of research. The comparison of neoclassical and neoromantic conception of the activities, the opposition in the literary process of the 20th century (which reconstructs the contrast of classicists and romanticists of the end of the 18th century) are realiged by means of antique plots and images. The concepion, which is founded in the result of comprehension of antiquity by neoclassicists, akhmeists and scamandrits is actually neoclassical, in other words, it is a type of neoclassical discourse, but simultaneously it is an organic part of modernistic movements of the epoch.
