Prokopchuk I. The value and institutional-power ensuring of political freedom in the conditions of democracy: politological analysis of the creative heritage of Alexis de Toquille

Research subject: conceptual theoretical and methodological principles of interpretation of freedom in heritage of Alexis de Toquille, treatises of outstanding thinkers of XYII-XIX centuries, proceedings of modern domectic and forign political scientists. Objective of the thesis: is scienfific substantiation of political freedom as a basic social value as well as institutional and authoritative, social and cultural mechanism of its ensuring in conditions of democraty described in creative heritage of A. de Toquille. Results and novelty: it was determined that rationalization of power is one of necessary prepequisites in a society of well-organized freedom; social and cultural aspects of freedom analysis in treatises of A. de Toquille were found; conflict of values of freedom|democracy is studied and classification of types of threats to freedom from the side of demjcratic society was developed: the problem of political modernization as the way to save political freedom in time and space is substantia ted: the circle of prognjstic navuable ideas for modern Ukrainian society is outlined. Sphere of application: materials of thesis may be used in educational, teaching and pedagogical, practical and political, law formative and law practiced activity.
