The thesis is devoted to the solving actual problem of increasing tool life of tungstenfree hard alloys during cutting process by creation on their surface solid lubricational coatings by chemicothermal treatment in vapour - gaseous atmosphere. These coatings change conditions of friction on contact surfaces of a cutting tools.
